I would like to hire someone to write a macro for me that will take a greyscale image of a solar image and map the greyscale to color with up to 10 different color variances according to greyscale. I do solar imaging and I take images of the photosphere. I attach an example from the SDO HMI observatory. What I would like is to convert the greyscale to some semblance of color like a magnetogram and have a full disk in color. Again, I attach an example. The Magnetogram is made with different instruments, but to a lesser extend, it can be made with a regular photospheric solar image like the one I attach.
