This program is for comparing force sensors using a pneumatic setup: A test rig is setup and the program would control the rig and acquire data from the force sensor. The LabVIEW program would have a desired angular position (so a sin wave of 1hz), you then measure the actual joint position of the robotic arm using a potentiometer and implement a controller (a PID controller) to set a desired pressure in the cylinders. You then will need to measure the load cell value and the 6dof force transducer. The results obtained from the load cell and 6dof should be graphed and compared. Custom converter for LabVIEW needed. We have couple of measurement devices which produce measurement data (examples of .dat files attached to this project description) from units manufactured. These measurement devices produce .dat files which mostly are using same format, but on some occasions there may be minor differences on them. We would need converter which would convert this data and save it on MySQL database for further analysis on LabVIEW. We are using LabVIEW 2011. This project would need some web programming for uploading .dat files and then saving them into MySQL.
