In the end, i want to use the servers so when i surf the internet at home, from 5 different machines, i need to be able to go to a site like [][1], and it needs to give me the addresses of the rented servers. 4 of the servers are fc9, and one i believe is fc8..... I have 2 windows networks at 2 separate locations. All either WinXP sp2 or Win2003 Server machines. They both have static IP DSL connections to the net. Hi! I got several VPS-es and 2 servers which I need openVPN installed to. OpenVPN will be used to hide my own IP address, so you should enable packet forwarding or whatever is needed for me to be able to access the internet thru these servers (my IP should appear as like surfing from that server) Not sure if all of my VPSes support routing/openvpn, so you only need to install to those which support it. I'm trying to setup OpenVPN client on Linksys WRT54GL. This router is running DD-WRT V24.sp1. When I connect to the Openvpn server from my PC, I have no problem. I can connect and browse the internet. However, if I try the same thing from the router, I can connect to the Openvpn server but I cannot browse the internet. I set up DD-WRT with the same openvpn configuration as my client pc. When I try to connect from the router it authenticates fine and establishes a connection. However, my router now cannot connect to the internet (eg. ) and neither can any devices/pc's connected to the router. The problem is that any client connected is unable to browse internet. Hello, I need help configuring OpenVPN. I belive i have configured most things correctly, however i am not able to communicate properly from the clients. The clients only seem to be able to communicate (ping) the vpn server, and they can access anything else. I have Openvpn installed, and I can connect my client to the remote server and ping successfully, but when openvpn is running, I can't browse internet from the client. If I delete from server config file the directive to push "redirect-gateway", I can then browse, but this is not what I want. I want to browse internet from the server's IP address. What I ask is just to configure my server to allow my client(s) to browse internet through the server IP, and write a click-by-click documentation on what has been done. Hello, I have DDWRT loaded on linksys router acting as an open VPN client that talks to openVPNserver hosted on windows server. I have o...the DDWRT router,the DDWRT is configured as DHCP and gets its IP from the main ISP router. The problem is if the internet connection on the ddwrt resets and I have devices attached to the ddwrt I strat getting bad source address from client on the openvpn server. I am guessing the problem lies somewhere when the DDWRT is power cycled, or the main internet connection is dropped for a fraction of a second, the devices connected to it bypass the openvpn connection.
