They would have to be comfortable working on a VPN, checking that all the requirements are met for the upgrade, and where possible, installing versions of programs that might be needed, such as innodb. If you do not know what I mean this job would not be for you. I also need someone who will do this safely, by backing up my site and db first, etc. And, someone who can troubleshoot the site to figure out why the automated backups are failing, and why I cannot upgrade some plugins due to permissions errors.

I have inherited an old Moodle (2.5.7) site that no longer functions. I have downloaded the MySQL database, moodledata folder, and live site files. I have been unable to restore it on my local webserver. It has been running on old php 5.3.3 and Apache/2.2.16 (Win32).
