I hired the freelancer to do a PPC project for a client. The project was completed within the time frame that the freelancer said, and the work seemed to be completed well. There were some areas that are worth mentioning in the review for other's to look out for. 1. I requested a freelancer only from the US. Even though the freelancer said he was based in Chicago, and was happy to jump on a phone call. The command of the English language wasn't there. Also, the sense of urgency was only to be paid quickly and to set expectations in his favor. 2. Specific instructions on the PPC campaign. I had to go back and forth in a chat conversation with this freelancer about a set of specific instructions. It was one of those "I know better about this topic, so I'm going to to do it like this." type of conversations. It was a waste of time, but he did compromise to my instructions eventually. 3. The communication was poor. The freelancer called me to release his money when I hadn't even made it into my office yet. The phone/communication etiquette needs a lot of work. Ask before calling, set up a time, etc. Over all, the idea of my hiring a local specialists didn't work out. I still got a foreigner that was difficult to work with.

Great job and patient with my communication. The result is good and I'm very happy to have saved time and effort.
