Hi, This seems straight forward however I would have a few quick questions: Is the training measured in hours or days? Is location availability an issue? Do you have microsoft Excel? So fairly minor questions, at the moment I would expect to set up an access database with 3 main screens and a few additional data entry forms. 1) trainer maintaince 2) course details maintaince 3) schedule Technically I have 15+ years developing VB and database applications and I have developed numerous access applications for various requirements. Hi, I am busy developing a similar application in VB.NET for the school where I am chairperson of the Governing Body. It also takes into account the last time a person substituted before deciding on whom to use. I am also experienced at remote support because my current customers are far away. Is it an existing database? If not I recommend that you make it an SQL database. It is free for a certain amount of users and is much more fail safe than Access.
