Hi, Your job is exactly the same to the prior authorization request form that I've been doing before when working for a psychiatric medical office based in Evanston, IL. As part of my daily admin duties is to call several health insurance every now and then to request to fax prior authorization form to our office as per directed by my client, often times, I need to do follow-up calls to these insurances because of the delayed response in sending out/faxing out the PA forms. Alongside responsibilities I have were keeping patient's heath records using MTBC platform, calling pharmacies for prescription refills/validation , scheduling patients, payment processing and other miscellaneous tasks. Fortunately, I have experience using Practice Fusion when I worked for a nurse practitioner employed in a pediatric medical office. I am tasked to read, review and update health records of her patients through Practice Fusion system and data entering plays a major role to do that. Other admin duties were completing paper works, phone calls to insurances for prior authorization request, lots of file management and organization, and other responsibilities. I understand what your job is all about and I would love to work on it as I am familiar about the work processes and to the utilization platform involved. I am able to start immediately.
