I would work on sql server, I think you will calculate in the application what is already happening there in Excel. You will save and I will store in sql server. I think other users will logged in and will show the details. It's a simple task and would not take more than 5 days. It's my assumption that there is not so much calculation part in the excel. What i would suggest is to make an ASP.net web application that will read the job status from excel spreadsheet,in case of completed status the particular job will be saved to ms sql server database. We can then use the saved data in any way we want. Please provide sample excel spreadsheet and message me so that we could discuss in detail.
