Hi I want you to write simple command line/shell scripts for windows and linux OS's that will fetch metrics like CPU/RAM/Hard disk usage (both used and free) Basically I have a list of app and database servers, and I want your scripts to work for these. I want your scripts to work for different environments like direct OS over server, OS under a hypervisor (like VMWare), OS under a container (like LXC) and so on. I have a list of such servers/containers/hypervisors/db servers for which I want your scripts to work. Also, Thanks, Arvind.

I can write the linux and windows scripts with relative ease and high quality. For windows I would write a shell script gathering data from ps output or the procfs directly. For windows a script written in vbscript collecting data from wmi would be my preferred solution.
