Date: June 25, 2022 Pneumatic Control Circuit with BOM (Bill of Materials) This project will be posted for up to (7) days, to review submissions and discussions on the proposed project. People submitting the bids should be able to discuss the criteria of the project and ask / answer questions regarding the bid and their capabilities. It is not a complex project but should be presented well with details of the operation. When submitting the finished project it will need to be viewable and editable in Excel or Google sheets. All of the control items should be standard control symbols and can be pictures imported into the sheet. The lines and text below symbols will need to be editable in Excel. The finished product will be the pneumatic control circuit and a legend / description of the system function and a complete list of the BOM. An example of a simple circuit is shown here. [login to view URL] . Components for the system should be available from any of the following suppliers. If you are not able to access these sites you may not be able to complete the project. [login to view URL] (preferred supplier) [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] There will be 24VDC power and 120psi air for the supply of the system. The system is simple enough that we should probably use air control. The system will consist of a control switch that will activate (6) cylinders to move a set of (3) doors. The cylinders will pivot and have 6” of shaft travel. A potential cylinder is in the link below and can be used for the system design. We will need to have needle valves on the inlet and outlet of the cylinders to control the opening and closing speed. A single control button should control all cylinders. The manifolding of the cylinder should divide into (3) lines, one for each door and then each of those should divide into the (2) lines, one for each cylinder. [login to view URL] Mufflers should be noted on all exhaust lines. The Inlet line should have a cutoff valve a pressure regulator, a pressure gauge, and a velocity fuse to control the entire system. Successful completion of the project includes the following: Pneumatic Control Schematic of the described system BOM of all part need to build the system Include the lines a reference of 1m each, I will adjust the final lengths A written description of the intended operations of the system Our questions to you on the project: Do you understand the scope of work?
