Case Manager

Responsible for assessment, planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals involved in the medical case management process. Works as an intermediary between carriers, attorneys, medical care providers, employers and employees to ensure appropriate and cost-effective healthcare services and a medically rehabilitated individual who is ready to return to an optimal level of work and functioning. Requirements and Skills: *CCM certification preferred or required to obtain in 2 years. *Own Vehicle and ability to travel extensively in local territory *Superior written and oral communication skills Excellent skills in Microsoft applications, Outlook, iPhone *Corvel is an EOE *This position requires a clear DMV report reliable vehicle and valid driver\u0027s license. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: *Effective multi-tasking skills in a high-volume, fast-paced, team-oriented environment. *Ability to interface with claims staff, attorneys, physicians and their representatives, and advisors/clients and coworkers. *Excellent written and verbal communication skills. *Ability to meet designated deadlines *Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office including Excel spreadsheets *Ability to drive, maneuver, navigate on a continual or almost continual basis *Strong interpersonal, time management and organizational skills. *Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
