Estimator for Home Renovation

RESPONSIBILITIES: Looking for an estimator with a comprehensive understanding & experience in home renovation project life-cycle from inception to completion, commissioning and operation. Home renovation project expected duration is around 2,5 months. The project will be divided in various phases. For the 1st phase (planning phase) we are looking for an estimator being responsible for the following: Planning phase: 1. Create renovation project plan in Microsoft Project for home renovation containing: 1.1. Plan to be defined together in an advisory manner, based on previous experiences 1.2. Work breakdown structure (1 hour granularity) in Detailed Gantt Chart with Baseline considering at least 3 options for resource allocation 1.3. Resource & Cost plan (Materials, Labour, Machinery Rental) 1.4. Reports built to ensure tracking of 1.4.1. Budget Burndown 1.4.2. Budget Deviations 1.4.3. Effort Deviations 1.4.4. Plan Deviations 1.4.4.1. Any other recommended reports 2. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors on estimates 3. Recommend ways to make approach the home renovation more cost effective way EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: • Strong experience as a cost estimator in home renovation projects • Communication skills • Organisational & time management skills • Expert user in MPP, XLS, PPT, WORD • Recognised Project Management Certifications will be a bonus
