We need a multilingual social networking site which will feature users and groups. Groups may contain one or more users. Both users and groups can have friends, photo galleries, blogs, music (mp3) and video sections. All sections can be commented, rated and tagged. Profiles can be styled with custom design. Front page of the site will provide a login/registration and will possibly display things like featured members, groups, blog postings, photos and featured videos. Platform: * Linux * Ruby on Rails 1.2 or later * MySQL 3.23 or later Coding standards * Clean design, OOP, DRY * Caching. The application must be designed so that caching is used everywhere possible, especially on member profiles. * Code samples. We require to see code samples and working demos of your previous work. Deadline: May 1, 2007 We will require the full working site demo on your server before the payment is released. Check the attached file for detailed requirements
