small script update

i currently have a .php script that will take a website URL, view the source and find a particular string in it. it will then do a find/replace and return an altered url. somehow, a bug has crept into it, and i'd like to have it fixed. i'm sure fixing things isn't nearly as much fun as building them, but the script is short (25 lines maybe), and i can perform all of the function by hand and get the desired results, so we aren't looking for a needle in a haystack here. for use in this project i have: > a copy of the broken script > a copy of the "by hand" procedure i use that works > a url where you can see it all in action if you're interested in a short project, let me know. i'd like to get this fixed and back to normal.
