This is a relatively easy job for an experienced programmer. I have a licensed Newstopica 3.0 script (see [login to view URL]) that fetches RSS news feeds for display on my web site. It uses magpierss to fetch the rss feeds. Magpierss is quite outdated and it doesn't fetch some feeds correctly. The job is to replace Magpierss by Simplepie ([login to view URL]), while maintaining the other features of newstopica. I will supply the newstopica script for the job. Simplepie can be downloaded for free. Please only bid if you are serious and have familiarity with PHP programming and RSS feed parsing.
