Looking for a simple PHP script that can create thumbnails given a very large image file. The very large image file can have dimensions up to 5000x3500 pixels and could be bigger than 5MBs in size. The large image file will already be on the server. The path to this image file for example will be "images/[login to view URL]" The php script I'm looking for will receive the path of this large image and create new thumbnail images into the same folder. For example, "images/[login to view URL]" "images/[login to view URL]" "images/[login to view URL]" Just looking for a simple php script that can demonstrate the ability to resize large images. No upload feature needed. Some of the constraints: 1.) Can not use ImageMagick 2.) Can not make any changes to [login to view URL] (to increase memory) Sites that work: 1.) Wordpress: uploading LARGE images to the "Media" library will automatically create thumbnail images of various sizes. Demonstrates the possibility of resizing very large images without the use of ImageMagick or changes to the php.ini.
