I need help with Stripe Connect integration for a learndash course

I volunteer with a nonprofit Medical Association and we are setting up a live stream seminar for credit. We did this successfully last year during the pandemic using Paypal. This year we are using Stripe and for some reason it’s not working. Enrollees go to the course page where they are given the option of logging in (if they are returning user) or taking the course. If they click on the Take this Course button it takes them to our stripe page where they give their credit card details and make payment. After payment is made they are redirected to the login page where they can either login or create a A username and password. So far so good. But upon logging in they are redirected back to the course page which says they are not enrolled. If one attempts to hit the They take this course button again they get a message which says either the link has expired or they have already made payment. One artical I read said it could be a webhook issue on Stripe but Iknow nothing about webhooks Right now people can pay for the course but they cannot get enrolled in the course. They need enrollment to gain access to the live stream.
