I am an expert with PHP and would be able to have this resolved for you within the next 48 hours. I also recommend that you upgrade your MySQL integration to use the MySQLi plugin to PHP than the legacy (and deprecated) MySQL plugin. I can help you upgrade this script to those new standards.

I think this is not a difficult task, I have many experience related to fix this kind of bug, it is commonly because there is (are) javascript error(s) that caused jQuery Calendar code is not executed. But then again, it is may be because another reasons, but still it is not a major one.
