Custom PHP for a WordPress website

This is a project for an experienced PHP developer with a general understanding of WordPress. I need to set up an account activation system for a membership website built in WordPress. Here’s my scenario: • I have added a table to my wordpress db called wp_member_activation which contains two fields; activation_code and group_id. • Potential members will receive direct mail piece with their activation code and group id and also an activation page url. They can go to the provided url to activate their account. • Activation page needs to be a simple form with two fields, “activation_code” and “group_id”. If they input a matching pair from a row in the table wp_member_activation, they will be forwarded to Registration page. • The Registration page needs to have “activation_code” and “group_id” fields hidden and pre-populated from previous page. They will need to enter their name and email address to create the account. I also need the registration page to be accessible only when forwarded from the activation page. If a user goes to the registration page directly, or from any other link, they need to be forwarded to the activation page. If you are interested in bidding on this project, you must begin your proposal with the following phrase: "This project looks Awesome! Please pick me.” If the first words in your proposal don’t match that phrase, I will assume that you have not read the description and will ignore your bid entirely. All of the front end work is done. All I need is the PHP code to handle the activation sequence as described. I am a front end developer with the knowledge to know that this is a 2 – 3 hour job for the right person. The maximum amount I’m willing to pay is $300 USD. Thanks for reading.
