I'm looking for a part time programmer, with possibility of full time on going commitment if you prove you are worth it (won't be able to hire you full time unless I know what I'm getting) hence I will just hire you for a particular upgrade to a busy social networking site and based on your performance there, we will either continue with partnership or will move on without. The tasks will involve PHP programming with MySQL databases on Linux servers. Occasional CSS work may also be needed. You should also be familiar with XML and RSS feeds and should write in clean code, preferably in W3 compliant XHTML. You would be working on a very complex and powerful website with high traffic hence the requirements for quality job with minimal bugs (and speedy bug fixes if they are discovered) is essential. You also must have an absolutely perfect ability to read the code written by other programmers and should be able to work with it and as part of it so your code flawlessly blends into the existing one.
