Help Setting Up Simple CakePHP REST API

Very simple job for someone that has done this work before. Looking to add a simple REST Api to an existing cakephp app. Our app has 3 user types, admin, users, and writers. We want to give writers API access to add content to our system on behalf of users. Now I'm taking care of the user-writer privileges, but need someone to help setup the following: 1) Writer auth/login for REST API 2) Writer can query for a list of projects for a user by passing a user_id after logging in 3) Writer can post content (title and body) to a selected project That's it. I've developed a couple of Cake apps, but am not familiar with the REST API although it looks like pretty simple. John
