Family/Friend web design (8-16bit, mario style)

i am building a website for my brothers and i to host family and friend pictures, info, videos, etc...and we want to have a super mario brothers theme...i am interested in having a flash intro made but am more concerned with the somewhat complex type of art i am in need of. idealy the person who accepts this bid would be able to convert pictures of myself and family memebers into 8/16bit style characters, although this is not a MUST. the site will be moderately interactive, but i do not want any flash menus, all DHTML, XML, CSS, etc. is fine. i would like the code to meet w3c standards as well (check by [login to view URL]) please provide links to a portfolio. also, if you are interested in some 8/16 bit character design, but NOT web design, please contact me or make a bid. the website should be easy to update using techniques such as CSS, php/ssi includes, etc. i can provide some examples of sites i like upon request. i require all PSDs of artwork as well as the site to be coded and fully functional upon complettion (i do NOT expect any content to be added, etc.) i am a novice as far as HTML/PHP is concerned, but if you can provide a full coded and working website, i can handle the rest. however, i do request that limit support be provided after completion, details will be decided before your bid is approved. as far as price range...i'm felxible. i understand the amount of work that can be involved with a site such of this, however, i dont want to spend a lot of money. please make a bid we will see where it goes. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform should be w3c compliant...easily editable with WYSIWYG editors such as front page and dreamweaver
