96712 Build & Maintain QA System

This is a great opportunity for a beginning or even advanced programmer that is detail oriented and able to communicate using written English and diagramming (flowchart) of processes. Budget and job Bid is ONLY for the first part of documenting the system with diagrams which will require perhaps 25-35 hours. Beyond the first few weeks, this person will be paid hourly for DAILY work. This project will require DAILY testing on an ongoing basis over a long term. I expect 1-4 hours of daily work will be required. Looking for an individual to develop and maintain a QA system for our mid-size project. This individual will do the following: - Read the development guide document and develop a list of functions and the possible results. - Diagram the possible results as a VISUAL flow chart - Test all functions on a daily basis (perhaps - Update the bug tracking software we use (Eventum) to reflect any new and resolved issues. - Follow up with developers to make sure they are aware of issues as urgency requires - Report to the project manager on a daily basis the status of systems via email Required Skills: Ability to communicate clearly using English, diagram clearly using a program such as Visio and update a web based project and issue management software called "Eventum". Basic programming knowledge is required but actual skill and coding will not be part of the job. Ability to identify and isolate issues a requirement. Mention this last ability in your post for ANY consideration - others will be ignored. The individual that would be excellent for this project will be a DETAIL oriented and able to start a list and check off all requirements. A student that has learned basic coding in PHP but has not yet learned advanced techniques would be ideal for this position. There will be vast opportunities to observe solid programming techniques. A programmer with the ability to review code and document where needed may be able to complete additional projects performing this task.
