Should be a simple project for anyone used to email programming.
An Excel macro creates a daily report in text format. I want to copy the contents of this file and send it in the body of an email to a small list of email accounts. The intent is to use Windows Scheduler to automatically run this once a day.
1) Read the contents of the text file (always the same location)
2) Paste it into the body of the email message, using monotype font, such as courier, size 10, to preserve spacing.
3) Create a subject title "Daily Stats dd-mmm" where dd-mmm is the current day and month
4) Email immediately to a given set of email addresses - stored in a separate text file, or however you think is best
5) Use a specific pop3 account that will be dedicated for this use.
6) Send a second email, to a different set of email addresses, with files in a specific folder included as attachments. Subject title in this case will be "Daily Details dd-mmm".
Any questions, don't hesitate to ask
