This project is for converting one Firefox .png file to a ready for web xhtml template. You will have to logically slice up the image and export it in ready for web format. This will most likely be .gif and possibly a few .jpeg files. Optimized for size, but at the same time not sacrificing noticeable quality. While most advanced coders will think the deliverables is verbose, please bare with me while I try to be as detailed as possible. Bottom Line: I'm a good client and any experienced coder will find this a breeze project. I need it done fast and will be available via instant messenger if that helps speed up the process. If all works out well I have 7 more templates after this I need converted. ## Deliverables Absolute requirements: 1) Valid xhtml-transitional 1.1 or xhtml-strict 2) no tag(s) at all 3) Must preview correctly in the browsers defined below 4) Valid CSS 2.0 5) No javascript at all 6) Allows resizable window without breaking the design or causing noticeable visual bugs in the browsers above. .png is currently 1000x1000 pixels and there should be no horizontal scrollbar for a window size 1024x768. Design should also look good at higher resolutions and "not horrible" at lower ones. The design does account for this mostly. 7) Font size not set in pixels. (Override friendly for those that change browser defaults.) 8) Displays well with colour depths of 16M and 65k or higher. 9) Using relative reference for the external images and css file. 10) Not using any 1x1 or other transparent images as placeholders. Please find the attached .png for reference. 1) The "learn more" button should be it's own image which will be overlayed on top of the main advertisement square. This button will be a link. 2) The main text just below the advertisement square should be actual text. 3) Where the advertisement square meets the right side navigation is currently overlayed. To simplify design please feel free to have the right navigation in another column. 4) There will be some footer text which will always remain 10px up from the absolute bottom. 5) Page should be 100% of the window height even if not enough content to push it to the bottom. 5) The text for the navigation buttons should be real text 6) The green horizontal box should be css and not an image 7) Most design lines should be css, but if it looks good then very small images that repeat or whatever is fine. Final deliverable files: 1) .xhtml file 2) sliced up web ready images in a sub directory called images 3) .css file containing all the styling in a sub directory called css 4) The file .png file if any modifications were needed. (Which there should be if sliced in Fireworks.) 5) a compressed file in one of the following formats: tar,zip,bzip2 containing the files mentioned above. 6) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 7) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform a) Windows IE 5,6,7 b) Linux Firefox 1.5,2.0 (I can easily test and confirm this if you don't have a Linux box.) c) Windows Firefox 1.5,2.0 d) Safari, Konqueror, Gecko, Netscape (any version/platform.. should be same rendering as FF. I can test this if you don't have access to any of these.) e) Windows Opera 9.0 f) Linux Opera 9.0 (I can test this if needed.) g) Some common Mac OS X browser. (coders choice)
