I require software to allow an arduino to read a velocity signal from a pc usb port running driving simulators and control a servos or digital potentiometers. I currently have a program working with the simulator that sends velocity data to a digital speedometer on the steering wheel.
The servo's or pots are required to control a separate high power circuit.
Somebody else tried this project but couldn't manage without access to the hardware and software. I am based in Surrey. UK
Software in use - Kart Racing Pro, Assetto Corsa, NetKar Pro, Live for Speed, Ferrari Virtual Academy.
More importantly, the software between the pc and the wheel display is FANALEDS which is free to download and use.
The wheel in use is the Fanatec Elite.
I have experience in Arduino and I could help you. Send me more inforamtion about the project. Do you know PC simulator protocol ( info send over USB)?
I have working with Arduino projects the last three years. The type of work described by you is within my skills. I am very interested to assist you in your development needs.
I have been involved in emdedded software development by using c and c++ since five years. I have gone through given requirement and comfortable to work on the same. I believe in accomplish the assigned project within stipulated time. Kindly assigned me to explore mine technical capabilities.
With best regards,
Rajiv
