WordPress - Need PHP/Java Help with Portfolio Categories, Filter and Sidebars

Hello! I am working on a site which you can see here [login to view URL] I need your help with a few things... Basically, this theme was built for 1 portfolio, but I need to have 2 portfolios. I've started to categorize portfolio items with Portfolio Categories but need your help sorting these out. Portfolio Categories currently look like this: All Directors — Director 1 — Director 2 — Director 3 Work — Commercial — Corporate — Digital — Documentary — Music Video This themes portfolio page layout looks like this [login to view URL] I do like this layout. Notice the filter on the side though. I like the filter sorting, but we need to show the subcategories here. TO DO: 1. DIRECTORS Page: See attached Director.jpg. I'd like the secondary grey sidebar to display filters for the sub-categories under "All Directors." The filters should be responsive just as they are here on the Work page [login to view URL] The only filters that should appear are the portfolio categories that are sub categories of "All Directors" - so we should not see filters for Work or any of the Work sub-categories. I got as far at building the secondary sidebar that you will see here [login to view URL] (custom page template). 2. WORK Page: a. Make the sub-menu responsive. So that when one of the submenu categories is clicked, the content slides in to place just as the filters. If another sub-category is selected, the content just slides into place. Same action as the filters would do. b. Add a secondary grey sidebar that displays the Portfolio Item Titles inside of each category. See attached "work.pdf." Titles should be arranged from most recent at top, and oldest at bottom. So when "Commercial" portfolio items are appearing, the grey sidebar will list the titles of all portfolio items categorized as "Commercial." When a title is clicked, the specific portfolio page will open. To be completed within 48 hours.
