This bid is for the development of 3 PHP/MySQL scripts: osRealty osClassifieds osJobs However, there is a HUGE shortcut! These 3 scripts will probably share 70% of their code, so you can build all 3 systems at once, and save a LOT of time. The 70% of shared code has already been implemented, in fact! (see attached "public_html" folder). These will complement the osDate script that is available at: [login to view URL] The idea of this project is to create 3 scripts, all with a very similar architecture. All 3 of these scripts require many common features: a login system, a search system, an admin interface, a user control panel, installer, skins, etc. However, to implement them, you should extend the existing DataObject classes, and create plugins for the system-specific features using the plugin architecture that has already been developed. All 3 of these scripts work on the principle of "managing and searching ads". In osRealty, the ads are for homes and apartments. In osJobs, the ads are resumes and jobs. In osClassifieds, the ads are for merchandise (buy/sell/trade, like [login to view URL]). In osDate (which is already implemented) the ads are personals. Thus, even though 3 systems are needed, you will probably observe at least 70% code re-use. These 3 scripts will be released as fully LGPL/open-source software, similar to how osDate is distributed. My goal is to make money only from the sale of skins & highly specialized add-ons, and for "high-level" support to users. The core system will be 100% free and open-source for all uses. ************** Please fully review the attached files for more details and specification for this project! ************** ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
