Upload multiple files/folders at once through web based file transfer.

We need to add the ability to upload/download multiple files or folders at one time using a web based upload/download script. We have an existing web based upload script written in PHP, HTML, JavaScript which allows a user to upload 1 or more files at once. The files are stored on the server and the file informaiton is stored in a MySQL database. There is a backend control panel where the owner/admin of the server can then download the files. We need to add the ability for the user to upload multiple files or folders at one time. Instead of choosing each of the files, they should be able to choose an entire folder (or drag/drop a group of files) at one time. Once they've selected the files they want to upload they can also fill out some specific fields, email address, name, etc which the admin/owner of the server has specified through the control panel. After that they can click upload and the files will be sent. In the control panel the files show grouped together by the session they were uploaded in, along with some information the user entered. Since the user will now be able to upload multiple files we will need to be able to download multiple files at the same time as well. The site should allow the admin to log into the control panel to view files and download many files at once. A Java Applet can be used to get this to work. Preferably a drag and drop feature can be used when selecting files. The server has a real time upload progress bar which works based off a custom compiled version of PHP5. When adding the ability to upload multiple files, the progress bar needs to continue to work. This can be either through the existing PHP code or through the Java Applet if used. The interface must look good. It should fit into the existing site and look clean and user friendly. This code is used by many of our customers so it must look good and be user friendly. You can view an existing demo at [login to view URL] ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Suse Linux 9 Apache2 MySQL PHP5 (custom compiled) The coder selected will be given full access to a test server with our existing code on it. A tour of the control panel will also be given to the bidder selected so you are fully aware of how the site works.
