Multi Chat Client I am a beginner/intermediate VB programmer currently working on a program similar to Trillian, that will enable the end user to log into several different chat servers across the internet. At the moment I seem to be stuck deciphering the new eShare server log in protocol. I was able to complete the process at one time but the chat server has been upgraded since then and I am obviously no longer able. An example of the new protocol for the particular server can be found here [login to view URL] Essentially, what I'm looking for is a *working example* of how the login process works. I am quite familiar with the server software and can point out the detailed specifics of how it works. I have included in the attached zip file, a working VB example of how the old login was achieved (I assume the new protocol is similar), the .java source files for the Java and Java Light clients, an RTF file of captured tcp/ip data and the cookie that is set on the machine by the server. I am not looking for the entire project to be completed for me as that would take all of the fun out of it. I'm not extremely fluent in Java and am not able to understand the new log in protocol from the .java files. Take note that this project may seem quite simple at first but is detailed and will take some time. I would advise that one download the attached zip file and take a look at the files before determining whether or not to attempt to complete the project. My project *is not* intended to serve as a chat bot or other malicious program of the type. The purpose of my work is simply to combine the ability to log into different chat servers into one program. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
