Configure Paypal IPN in my e-commerce site(repost)

I have installed the paypal IPN module but need help getting it configured. Just had a customer order something and pay through paypal, but I did not receive an order confirmation email after he paid. The order was registered in the site, but the confirmation email did not go0 out. Also, the Paypal information is not available in the order on the site. Correction: The paypal IPN is now working for all items except for the extended warranty items. The extended warranty items have an extra step in the checkout process where information about the equipment for which the warranty is for is entered. I need this to work like the rest of the site, so that once someone buys the item and pays tyhrough paypal a confirmation email is sent. I also don't want that email sent out until it is confirmed that the customer paid through payapl. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
