Hello,
I need to get Vbulletin setup on Windows Dedicated Server (IIS).
I had someone working on this but they couldnt finish it. Heres a summary of what hes done so far:
well i installed mysql5 and setup it up in plesk added the domain added the [login to view URL] to the enviroment variables the default forum will be in the pub/rootvhost/xxxxxxxxx/forum set permissions for it to run added the mime types and was just looking through things trying to figure out why the php5 was not being used.
there is nothing more really that i can think of that needs looking at it should work after a reboot 90% sure but it is just something that is not configured correctly and there are so many differant place that plesk puts things it takes a while getting through it all. but there is a problem with the ftp in plesk i do not know why but when you add a user to the domain it will not give you access to the folder.
He also mentioned he was setting it up on apache and then figured out that it should have been IIS for it to work properly.

So thats the summary of the last person to work on it.
Your job will be basically to do the installations required for Vbulletin to work on Windows and then get Vbulletin setup and running. You obviously dont have to create anything in the forum itself but rather just get it up and running live. I have a domain name and i will give you the username and password required to get remote access to the dedicated server and also any settings etc that you need for Vbulletin and MySQL.
So i can root out the people who know what there talking about please give me an outline of the process that you will be doing so i can be confident you have experience in VBulletin and PHP etc and include this in a PM, PM's without this will be ignored. Also timeframe is very important so please tell me how long this will take you as im running to a deadline.
Thanks
Paul
