ASP.net 2.0 SEO help

I currenly have a website in ASP.net 2.0 that works well, but has some SEO problems related to W3C validation, and is causing search engines to mis-interpret the text and content of the site. Currently using the W3C <[login to view URL]> returns 44 errors on the home page. I need a coder to help remove all of these errors and keep the existing functionality of the page. Also this tool <[login to view URL]> tells the first 200 words of text read by the search engines. The coder needs to make sure that none of the html is interpretted as content here. Currently a lot of formatting tags and garbage are being read as content. This would only help if i was trying to get traffic for selling fonts. Really i want only the real text/content of the page to appear using this tool.
