Cold Calling to Publishing Companies and Generating samples from Telesales Process Description The freelancer will be cold calling to decision makers (production manager, ebook manager, editorial manager etc.) in the book publishing companies and pitch about our services such as ebook conversion, typesetting, XML, App development etc. Targets & Objective A successful engagement with a client is when the client has a requirement to make their books digital in any format (Ex: Typeset PDF, XML, eBooks, Apps etc.,) and agrees immediately to work on a sample job to evaluate the capabilities to engage with our company. The freelancer should be collecting samples from 5 qualified leads and he/she will be paid a total of USD 250 ($50 per lead) upon completing the target. Focus Industry Book Publishers in General Trade, Fiction & Non-Fiction, Children’s, Education – Academic, Universities etc. Skills Required • Should be able to pursue, convince the client in a professional & timely manner. • Awareness about the book publishing, ebooks, digital etc., will be an added advantage. • We would prefer a freelancer with proper US accent.

I am quite proficient in English with two certificates in Business English - BEC 2 and BEC 3 from the University of Cambridge, I have previous experience as an instructor in Spoken English, Telemarketer, Public Relations Officer, Virtual Assistant, Data Mining, Data Entry, and I am still working in the reception department of a reputed Ayurvedic Hospital in India, so receiving people, understanding their needs on a daily basis, in consideration with different time phased moods and tempo of people's minds and to supplement and compliment to their wants via interpersonal communication has always been me. Besides, I speak five Indian languages-Hindi, Kannada, Telegu, Tamil, Malayalam I am fast typist with more than 75 words per minute, looking for a long term project employer to do a part time job. I see doing a job on the Telephone as two different approaches- First-A complimentary –supplementary approach. Second- A Numerator – Denominator approach, and I am ready for both. Telemarketing in particular needs mention as I am most comfortable on the phone, and my job experience is mainly in the field of Telemarketing, Telesales, Virtual Assistant via the telephone.
