Hi, hope everything is going well with you. The idea is great and clear. we can use raspberry Pi as a gateway and install the Node Red on it in order to connect the 5 sensors and implement the system. I worked with the same idea for the smart home application and i have experience with edge and cloud computing. If you need to know more about my experience, plz contact me.
