Hi there. DNS, in it's functionality, only translates domain names to ip addresses (ipv4/ipv6). So if the DNS 'points' to your server ip address, its work is done. As for SSL/TLS and Apache - it depends of the web server setup, certificate provider, there can be few thinks that can be misconfigured to lead to issues.
