I am looking for a skilled mathematician / statistician / financial analysis specialist to help me better predict what number will come up next in a sequence, based on already existing data set. To see the example download the attached file. What can be done with this data set? I can provide more technical details about how the sequence is generated. New number is being added every 25 seconds or so, i'd like to predict with good accuracy what to expect next. Some examples of issues to solve: - high probability that the next number will be below 2 - high probability that the next number will be above 2 - high probability that the next number will be 0 - high probability that the next number will be above 100 - high probability that the next number will be above 1000 etc... We will need to analyze patterns of groups of numbers that come up. Please write something about yourself, let's chat on PM if you're interested in this assignment. I need to know more about you and be sure that you have the right skills!

Hi I am a very experienced statistician and academic writer. I have completed several PhD level thesis projects involving advanced statistical analysis of data. I have worked with data from several companies and have done projects involving high level quantitative analysis and data interpretation skills to study the trends, time behaviour and compare the variables in the data. I can do advanced level analysis in SPSS, R, WEKA and excel tools like machine learning, hypothesis testing, forecasting, T-test, ANOVA etc. Looking forward to discussion, Best Regards, Suyash

It's not a bidding. I looked at your example and think that it is impossible to give predictions that you want. However, I would like to tell you that I found an interesting behaviour of numbers from an attached example. I put all numbers in intervals [0,10], [10,100],[ 100,1000],[ 1000,10 000], [10 000,100 000], [100 000,1000 000], [1000 000, 10 000 000]. The probabilities to find a number in such interval are {0.891968, 0.0884538, 0.00875979, 0.000890317, 0.0000861712, 7.50869*10^-6, 7.15114*10^-7}. They decrease approximately by 10 times from one interval to another one. Good luck in your searching.

I would like to apply for the task. I have experiences with random numbers (pseudo, true, ..., also with different distributions of them). Yes, I am really interested, how these numbers are obtained, as this surely needed for giving a solution.
