Sample Order Entry page (school project)

I am looking to create a sample basic application that does the following things, written in c# MVC 5 or 6 (VS 2015) - with annotated code so it's obvious to an entry level programmer. Data is stored in a few tables in an SQL Server database (localdb is fine). Part (part id, part number, part cost, description) Order (order id, order date, order total) Order Detail (detail id, order id, description, part number, part cost, quantity, line item total) Functions Create New Order View Existing Order Add Order Detail (To new or existing order) Appearance A link to create a new order, a dropdown to select existing order A grid with the detail items A grid or individual controls to add additional line items Considerations: Autocomplete part number from Parts table as entering a new detail, also pull in the part's description and cost. Basic information is pulled from Part as mentioned, but can be overridden. I do not require 100% seperation of concerns - that is I am ok with shared models at this time. Entity framework is ok, however if there is an easier way to work that is fine as well. Demo to show working model (teamviewer is fine). There will likely be follow up work on this.
