I have recently developed business plan for Solar PV Micro Grid (1 MW to 100 MW) for agreement with AEDB Pakistan according to AEDB policies. Micro solar grids will be develop for on-grid systems and will sell energy to national grid or any private sector (Industry, colony etc) on BOOT basis (10 years to 25 years). Investor will finance 100% investment on 1 year bank guarantee from client. And client (government or private) is bound to pay for the energy he gets from the investor. Client must purchase an agreed amount of units per month from the investor. Investor owns the plant, has operation and maintenance responsibility and bound to provide an agreed minimum number units to the client as per agreement. Tariff rate is also decided on the basis of energy assessment calculations and EPC cost. I am fully aware of solar and wind power generation business plans, their concerns and problems when connecting them to national grid and its resolution.
