1. IEEE1588 windows programming using VC++ (VC2017)
2. IEEE1588 packet communication programming using UDP
3. IEEE1588 Slave function is for the receiving time sync from Grand master via 1G Ethernet PCI card
- Freelancer himself will use (opened) Linux machine program and PC as Grand master
4. IEEE1588 Master function is for sending time sync to user’s network device (or other Windows PC) via INTEL NIC 10G Ethernet PCI card
- X540 or X550 should be used as INTEL NIC 10G Ethernet PCI card
- For checking the time precision and protocol operation, we should use network windows pc replacing user’s network device
5. Freelancer should prove the following operation of program on our site remotely.
- Does it work well as suggested in this project?
6. Project goal(acceptance of project result) is the following
- Meet time precision under 200 micro second from Grand master clock or local clock to user's network device clock.
Time precision condition :
Tg : The time at grand master
Tu : The time at User's network device or other
|Tg - Td] < 200 us

7. Maintenance
