We operate a niche market web service providing packaged Town and Country Planning advice to people living in England and Wales. We operate a unique website through which users can engage our services by providing case details and requesting one or more packages from us. Due to the nature of the project, only British Nationals (Native English speakers) with experience of daily life in the UK need apply for this role. It would be helpful [but not essential] if you already own your own property or have worked in property related business. I need someone to help with each new 'case' as they are received. Each case will involve meticulously following a step by step set of instructions and using your initiative to find the relevant information needed. An abbreviated set of instructions is as follows: 1 - Process client application (including adding details to our CRM / Project management tools) 2 - Set up client files / folders (on our cloud file server) 3 - Undertake web research & document acquisition (usually downloading around 20 - 50 copy docs to our server from local government sources) 4 - Populate relevant .doc reports & letter templates with customer info; 5 - Locate and research policy and summarise key items in a .doc file; 6 - Notify us that research and file production is complete and ready for processing; and; Generally help with in evolving a list of common tasks to help us with 'back office' admin - so that we are enabled to get on with the task of advising our clients. You will ideally need to have have experience in: - [login to view URL] (Project / Task Management web App) - [login to view URL] (Time recording web App) - Secretarial type duties - Data entry and document acquisition (thoroughness and accuracy is particularly important to us) - Using your own initiative to increase your own efficiency without detriment to project requirements You will need access to: - A desktop / laptop PC - A secure web connection (5Mb or better required). - IMAP email software (like MS Outlook) - we will provide a unique email address for the duration of the project - MS Office / Word (Word 2013 preferably) - Skype (preferably with video) - for direct communication This work is currently temporary / occasional in nature (perhaps only a few hours per week to start with) however we anticipate that work will build in frequency as the product / service grows. Each 'case' will be expected to take no more that 1 hour to complete and can be achieved in one sitting (We can do it in ~30-40 minutes!). A typical turnaround of 1 business day is required. As such the role will be offered on a 'case rate' basis rather than billable on time spent. In other words, the more efficient you are, the higher the return on your time. Please note that a completion of each project will determined be following a file QC process by the case project manager - i.e. the consultant to whom the project is assigned. Finally the role will be subject to agreement to a non-disclosure agreement and the amount of work available will be open to expansion for the right candidate.
