I'm an American writer and I'm looking for as much work as you can send me. I've been a copyeditor for nearly a decade and thus I rarely if ever commit grammar mistakes or typographical errors. My rate for 500 words is $5. I can turn around 10 or more articles within 24 hours.

I have worked in both the public and private sector for 28 years in a range of occupations delivering written articles, project work, newsletters, quotes and reports for the media as well as local government documentation and bids for funding. I am reliable and efficient and can produce the required work to an excellent standard.

Depending on the project requirements, I can write specific technical or academic articles, such as medical or scientific, editing and proofreading. For such articles, I would look for $8 per 500 words. I'm interested to find out more about the type of writing required.

I have been trying to break in to the fast-paced, exacting freelance writer's market.
