Greetings business plan gurus! I represent a niche online dating platform as the Managing Director. We currently have a website that would be considered a BVP at this stage and the next step to making this project come to fruition is a business plan to pitch to investors. This plan must be delivered to be appealing from the investor standpoint to attract venture capital in order to create a team and make the service a profitable success. Upon selecting the correct candidate, more details will be disclosed about the service and as there is already a website and social media pages, it will create a solid base for the plan to be constructed upon. The idea is great and there is little if any competition in the genre. It will connect people from a certain demographic that otherwise may not have been able to do so. It is now reached a stage where a team of experts needs to be built in different areas to expand this idea to the public. To do so we need funding, and a solid business plan is the next step to doing that. Things to consider: Company structure Marketing Social media Financial forecasts (5 years maybe) Recommended funding amounts Return on investment Staffing costs, salaries etc Property leasing, vehicles etc Web development Company structure Legal requirements There may be aspects that we have missed or some that I have mentioned that are not required. We will be relying on your skill set to aid is in writing the plan that reflects the things we need. The plan must be delivered in easy to read formats too, incorporating charts, spreadsheets and graphs so that investors can clearly read information. Anybody with experience with writing plans for online dating platforms would be highly regarded as would those who have written plans for successful tech based start ups as well. This plan needs will be the catalyst for the business as a whole, so it is important that we select the correct candidate. I like that you are focused on a niche, although it is important to still explain the market you're in - competition section appears to be missing from "Things to consider" My background is that I've worked in private equity, started my own tech companies, been through a leading Accelerator in the UK, am a mentor at a leading edtech incubator and was part of a senior management team which grew a company substantial and received external investment.
