To make a precise evaluation,meaning checking the size of the structural elements (beams and columns) it is necessary a structural analysis which I think will cost more than the 30 USD budget shown here. Anyway, doing a quick non quantitative check. I can see the following: You could reduce the section of the intermediate column that supports the stairs elements. I don´t think eliminating it would be a good idea because then you would have to enlarge the intermediate beam that supports the stairs elements. You could also think of hiding the interior beams to make it a flat plate slab, but that would require to make column brackets, capitals and even drop panels, which need to be evaluated if your building is in a medium or high risk seismic zone. You can also reduce the sections of the columns in the top floors, if doing another section forms is worth it, from the construction perspective. You can also think of doing all the stairs system of steel, but you may kill your architect with a heart attack! It depends what your building aesthetic / purpose is. Hope it helped you.
