Senior Web Developer

English speaking and must be available via phone/skype/chat - 2 hrs on US PST RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Be able to quickly decipher and understand our existing codebase and immediately and continually execute development projects to keep our e-commerce sites best-of-breed - Tasks can be as simple as building out html emails and updating web site content, to developing full-scale mobile e-commerce sites and other cutting-edge technologies. - Web Server and Database Administration (we are a Microsoft shop) - Take existing code and modify/customize it to our standards. - Troubleshooting issues with security, network, HTML, XHTML, Javascript, ASP, and XML. DUTIES/QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: - CLASSIC ASP EXPERTISE REQUIRED - Minimum of 5+ Years in Web Development with an emphasis on backend technologies - E-Commerce Development Experience/Shopping Carts/Payment gateways A MUST - Ability to work with internal and externally developed code - Thorough experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and languages (ASP, ASP.NET, T-SQL, and IIS are required) - Search Engine Optimization and Knowledge A MUST - Social Networking/Web 2.0 framework and knowledge a plus - VBScript, C#, VB.NET experience a plus - XHTML/CSS 2.0 knowledge with on-the-job experience building dynamic web pages and creating CSS layouts by hand - JavaScript and the W3C DOM
