I started out as ASP.NET developer in June 2006 using .NET 2.0 Framework with my first project. Due to project needs I moved back to .NET 1.1 and gradually moved up to a 4.5 Framework in a span of 8 years. I had 3 MVC projects in the last 2 years ranging from MVC 3 to MVC 4 which went through a complete development life cycle from requirement gathering to support. By using agile methodology, we can leverage the amount of output per sprint to make the project more manageable and transparent. It would be best to development using a TDD approach to make sure that each and every module is testable and is working as expected. From my experience, using a TDD approach from the beginning of the project makes it a lot easier for developers to determine if any changes to the source code is affecting other modules in the system; especially when the source code reaches over thousands of lines and hundreds of classes.
