An independent sales rep, with an artistic background

iyris invitations is a Montreal (QC, Canada) based company, specializing in hand made [login to view URL] have various products lines, and are looking for someone with an artistic background to help us generate more sales. Our invitations are custom made to order. With the client having an option to either pick an invitation from what is available in our inventory, or having one made to their specifications. We are in our infancy, and are looking for someone who wants to grow within the company, as the company grows. Eventually, if this person wishes, they will be able to venture into other aspects of the business, and grow with it. You will be the perfect candidate, if you are already a sales rep or consultant for other product lines within the wedding industry, with a successful sales track record selling custom high end products to individuals, businesses and corporations, etc. It is important to us that you are perfectly bilingual, and live within the greater Montreal area. If you don't have prior experience selling handmade invitations to projects/businesses/corporations, etc, we would like to consider you too if you: • Are enthusiastic, energetic, tenacious and ambitious. • Have a positive can do attitude, be willing to learn and work hard. • Love selling and meeting people, with outgoing personality. • Are well organized, self motivated, able to manage time well. • Enjoy the challenge of developing a productive account base. • Understand that it takes time, patience and energy to get sales. • Are able take rejections well and persevere until you succeed. • Understand that professional sales is not order taking, and salesmanship starts when customer says "no" or rejects you. • Know that selling a quality product at a higher price can be difficult • Have the ability to proactively identify and close sales opportunities. • Are good with your hands, have a passion for art and or appreciate arts and hand made products. • Have your own car (with a valid driver license) and a mobile display device (eg Ipad or Laptop).
