I have a Vbulletin Forum. I need the following done: - A page that you can only view if you are logged in on your Vbulletin account, AND you have Usergroup VIP or VIP Gold. Users who are either not logged in, or who are not VIP shouldn't be able to view the content of the page. - Once you are logged in (and confirmed as VIP), there needs to be a dropdown that selects from an external database & table & column. Once an user selected it, it will display an unique ID from a column from the DB. After that, that particular ID should never be displayed again. Instead, the next ID in the DB which hasnt' been viewed by any users, should be displayed. This could be done by the web checking if a column is 0 or 1, and upon the user selecting, update column to 1, and ...
On my Vbulletin Forum (4.2 - PHP 5.6), around 1-2 years ago, the automation of the Paid Subscription stopped working out of a sudden. Currently, when a user on the forum donates, their money gets sent to my connected Paypal account, but they do not get the VIP membership automatically, anymore. This means that I have to manually add the membership to the donated user. Previously this worked, but it stopped from one day to another, without me changing anything. The Paypal account is verified, and connected to the forum. It seems from a backend PoV that everything is fine.
Help to upgrade our forums software from Vbulletin 4 to Vbulletin 5 We want to make sure we retain the same site URL structure as we had in Vbulletin 4. In other words, if a user goes to a page previously on Vbulletin 4, they will automatically be redirected via 301 to the same page on Vbulletin 5. We are currently using Advanced Friendly URLs in Vbulletin 4. Previous experience in this same task is required. I have a Vbulletin 4.2 forum software that needs to be updated PHP wise, to PHP version 7.3. There are issues atm where there are old code that is only supporting PHP 5.6, and not PHP 7.3. I need the code updated and the forum needs to remain fully functional on PHP 7.3. As requirement, please be knowledged in Vbulletin and PHP. Note: Vbulletin should stay on version 4.2, but just be able to support PHP 7.3 on it.

On my forum the logon form in the top right of the page doesn't always pass the password correctly or fails login. or logs in then draws the forum in the login box (see attached). This issue occurs using the default theme and also the theme im using 'quarto' I need this fixing and testing. Successful fix will have subsequent work to update to the latest version of vbulletin and the theme uses.
Vbulletin forum was down and to fully patch it requires newer versions of php / apache. My goal is to get the forum (and server) back up fully patched and updated. As of now, aws has backups of the instance before the forum went down. There is also a specific issue where the aws instance has a constant 20% cpu usage as reported by the aws console, want to fix that as well.

Even browsing is slow and sometimes i got database error message and after hard refreshing with CTRL f5 the website and vbulletin work but still so slow. Memory RAM is being consumed till it is full. I run a small website as a vBulletin site and have had a plugin working until now when I moved to a new host and upgraded PHP etc. It is a plugin that shows categories on a page and when a categori is clicked it will select the posts that contains tags that matches the category. I believe it is a rather small job. I am not sure if the problem is in the PHP or if there is something else that is wrong with it.
