I have an image for personal use that is made up of lots of geometric patterns and colors. I need it converted to a vector image that is crisp and clean and in Adobe Illustrator format (.ai ). I want the final vector to be made out of 3 or 4 sided polygons only, no rounded anything. Crisp and clean. The original image 800x560 contains anywhere between 500-1000 polygons. So it will take some work and please don't use any autotrace apps for features. These have some pretty bad results when dealing with half-tones and images with lots of colors.

There are some scanned drawings (in jpg and tiff format) which need to be traced in AutoCAD. It is not a very demanding project for someone with past experience. Maybe it would help speed up the process, the use of a raster to vector program (e.g. Raster Design). There will be provided a dwg file with all the layers needed. I have 24 maps that I would like to convert from raster to vector. This will involve tracing over topography lines, coastlines and major highways with the pen tool (no curves, just many, many clicks).
