So now mariadb have problems trying to start ... I removed mariadb-server and mariadb-client and reinstalled, and installed-removed mysql ... but nothing appears to work with that service ...

Currently, I am running a PHP application that also uses MYSQL (MariaDB). The CPU load is higher than I would like, so i would like someone who is an expert at performance modification for our server. The server is using Apache with Nginx as a front proxy. Currently we have got PHP 5.6 and 7 installed on our Synology Diskstation. Also MariaDB is installed with Version 5 and 10. Application vtiger 6.5. is running under PHP 5.6 / MariaDB 5. When trying to install another application (Moodle) we were informed that this requires PHP 7. And we do not know how to make PHPMyAdmin "displaying" PHP 7 instead of 5.6 (see attachment).
